Learn2go Quarterly Prize Competition (April - December)

Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition is a promotion run by RACQ Operations Pty Limited ABN 80 009 663 414 (“Promoter”).

  2. Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.

  3. The competition is open to residents of Queensland 16 years old and over, who register as a user of RACQ Learn2go as either a learner driver or supervisor.

  4. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.

  5. The competition commences at 9am on the 1st of each month and closes at 5pm on the last day of each month from April 2011 to December 2011. The competition will be drawn at 10.15am on the 4th May 2011 (April), 8th June 2011 (May), 6th July 2011 (June), 3rd August 2011 (July), 7th September 2011 (August), 5th October 2011 (September),2nd November 2011 (October), 11th December 2011(November), 7th January 2012 (December) at RACQ Head Office, Marketing Department, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD 4113.

  6. There will be 10 winners in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  7. Entry is by watching any of the series of videos in the practical skills section of the RACQ Learn2go website. Upon watching a video, entry is accepted and recorded automatically using the user’s registration details.

  8. Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they like, however only one prize will be awarded to each winner regardless of the number of times their entries are drawn. 

  9. The winners will receive in order of the prize draw:
    • 1 x Coles Myer Gift Card valued at $150 (Learner)
    • 1 x Coles Myer Gift Card valued at $150 (Supervisor)
    • 4 x Visa Gift Card valued at $30 each
    • 4 x iTunes Gift Cards valued at $30 each


    Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date that the prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.

  10. The prizes must be used by the expiry dates listed on the gift cards.

  11. The prizes are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.

  12. Winners will be notified by email, phone or mail. Prizes will be posted or couriered to winners as appropriate.

  13. If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within 2 weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 10.15am on 18th May 2011 (April), 22nd June 2011 (May), 20th July 2011 (June), 17th August 2011 (July), 21st September 2011 (August), 19th October 2011 (September), 16th November 2011 (October), 21st December 2011(November), 25th January 2012 (December) at RACQ Head Office, Marketing Department, 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, QLD 4113 and redraw winners will be notified by email, phone or mail.

  14. All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.

  15. The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy.

  16. If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.

  17. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize[s] or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winners and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winners.
