Win a New Holden Barina Spark Competition - Terms and conditions
- This competition is a promotion run by RACQ Operations Pty Limited ABN 80 009 663 414 (“Promoter”).
- Entries and information on prizes and how to enter form part of these terms and conditions (“Terms”). Entries not completed in accordance with these Terms are ineligible. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
- The competition is open to RACQ Learn2go Learner drivers and supervisors who are current registrants at the time the competition is drawn.
- Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, related entities and agents of the Promoter are ineligible to enter.
- The competition commences 13 August at 5pm and closes 5pm on 30 June 2011. The competition will be drawn at 10am on 1 July 2011 at the RACQ Marketing Department in the RACQ Corporate office complex at 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, Qld 4127.
- There will be one winner in this competition that will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Entry is by registering as a user on www.Learn2go.com.au as a Learner driver or supervisor, and entering or approving a drive in the logbook. Once entered or approved, registered users are automatically entered into the draw.
- Entrants may enter the competition as many times as they like, however only one prize will be awarded to the winner regardless of the number of times their entries are drawn.
- The winner will receive a Holden Barina Spark, manual transmission vehicle in a predetermined colour, subject to availability and valued at up to $14,490 including registration, CTP insurance, stamp duty and dealer delivery charges. The prize includes Comprehensive Insurance for 12 months provided by RACQ Insurance Limited ABN 50 009 704 152. Prize components may alter at the discretion of the Promoter. Any change in the value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date that the prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the Promoter.
- Additional insurance, accessories and options, petrol, service and maintenance and all other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner.
- Depending on their location, the prize winner will collect the car from the nearest Holden dealership. The prize winner is required to sign a standard RACQ talent release form permitting unlimited use of their photo and comments in RACQ promotions following the announcement of the winner of the competition.
- The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
- The prize is subject to availability.
- The winner will be notified by phone with the Holden Barina Spark prize wwill be presented to the winner in person. Competition results may also be published in The Road Ahead, on www.free2go.com.au, on www.Learn2go.com.au in free2go E-Style and Club e-News following the presentation of the prize.
- If a competition winner is unable to be contacted within 2 weeks of the draw a redraw will occur. In the event that a redraw is required it will be held at 10am on 15 July 2011 at the RACQ Marketing Department in the RACQ Corporate Office complex at 2649 Logan Road, Eight Mile Plains, Qld 4127 and the redraw winner will be notified by phone.
- All entries become the property of the Promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
- The information that entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting the competition, and to periodically keep entrants informed about the goods and services provided by the Promoter, related entities and its service providers. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their contact details for the purposes described in this clause. The Promoter may use or disclose entrant’s personal information to related entities or other appropriate third parties in accordance with its privacy policy.
- If for any reason this competition is not capable of being conducted by the Promoter as intended, whether because of computer virus, mobile phone failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which in the Promoter’s opinion affects the administration of the competition, security, fairness or integrity, the Promoter may in its sole discretion, cancel, modify or suspend the competition, subject to the approval of the gaming authority in Queensland as may be required.
- The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage or for any personal injury sustained as a result of taking the prize[s] or entering into this competition. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability or any goods or services offered as prizes. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered to person or property by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter or its employees or agents, in connection with the arrangement for the supply, or the supply, of goods and services by any person to the prize winner and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the prize winner.
